Where do I start with these lovely two! Celebrating their vows on a clifftop overlooking the Blue Mountains in NSW, Australia is pretty hard to beat!
Around the time of the recent and horrific bush fires burning out of control in the mountains, the weeks leading up to their wedding had been a little touch and go... But all had been brought under control and the day turned out to be spectacular!
Tanya wore an elegantly simple Carla Zampatti gown and held the small and intimate wedding ceremony earlier in the day to allow for a relaxed lunch time reception celebration.
Something about these two made it feel as if they were long-time family friends and I was welcomed as just one of the bunch. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to capture or more lovely people to spend it with.
I've always had a love of all things vintage... It started out while I was studying photography and object art at university and the obsession hasn't left me. So when the lovely bride Sarah explained she had twist of vintage theme for her wedding to Harks, I was really excited!
From Sarah's stunning lace dress that had been hand-made by a friend to her 'off-the-chart-amazing' flowers, all the I was in heaven. Even her Mum's dress and each of her bridesmaids colourful dresses incorporated a modern take 1950's and 1960's styles.
The reception was held at the transformed Petersham Town Hall and saw all their guests dancing the night away to Turkish drums.
